What is the most important thing you should do every day?
A lot of us know that our mornings matter. We know that if we have a good morning most probably it will be a good day, and if we have a bad morning it will likely be a bad day.
We also know that personal development places high priority on morning routines. In many cases most morning routines would help you. But what is it about morning routines that make your day better?
It comes down to this.
A morning routine makes you feel better. If you feel better, everything else is better for you in your life. When you feel better, you perform better, you try more, you take risks and plenty more.
It is all about how you feel.
So, in fact your morning routine should be highly focused on activities that make you feel very very good. So good, you’re flying like a kite for the rest of the day.
There are 2 feelings that are so good that they can do this for you. Love and gratitude. It may be hard to feel the feeling of love but gratitude is something we can create at any time! It’s incredible!
I urge you to, in the morning before you do anything else, put your hand on your heart and say ‘thank you’. Then say it 20 more times. Then once you honestly start feeling genuine gratitude.. and it will come even if you think it won’t… you start thanking life for what it has given you, what you have in your life. Once you have done this, you thank life for everything coming to you and visualize these things while you say thank you for them.
This should last about 5–10 minutes. Maybe put a timer.
Do this everyday and your life will radically change. Honestly. This is all it is. Change how you feel, change your life.
